St George Day Special Dinner
April 2010
Congratulations Heather for a job well done and many thanks to all Club Members who helped Heather in making this a very successful night.
St George Day guests were treated to Sherry, a lovely meal and
The Landgirls provided fantastic entertainment and a trip down memory lane for many with all the 'Golden Oldies' of WWII.
There was singing, flag waving, marching and even dancing!
Judging from the applause at the end of the evening,
a good time was had by all.

Murder Mystery Night at China Blue Gardens

February 2010
Club members and guests had a lovely evening
guessing who committed the foul deed.
In the process they raised 680 pounds
for the Earthquake Victims in Haiti and Chile.
Well Done All!!

Cath's Visit to Sudan
to Hand Over Club's Hog Roast Donation
December 2009

From the 1500 pounds raised at the Hog Roast in September
800 pounds was given to the Mother Teresa Orphanage in Khartoum.
The Orphanage elected to use the money to buy a cooker and freezer, as previously they had been cooking on the floor!
200 pounds was set aside  to pay for cataract operations in Khartoum and
500 pounds to the Mikoroshoni School, in a small Kenyan village, to provide breakfasts for small children when they arrive at school.

Bolton Lever's Christmas 2009

Whilst still enjoying themselves at the Christmas Dinner,
club members managed to collect
750 pounds for President Sue's charities!
Ridgmont House once again provided the Club with a lovely meal
and members enjoyed a variety of party games including
an Alice in Wonderland sized, 'Play your Cards Right'
Pass the Parcel!
and Guess Where This Is?
...and many more!

Hog Roast September 2009

A fantastic occasion which raised 1500 pounds
for The Orphanage in Khartoum.
The event was a resounding success
thanks to the generousity and hardwork of many members of the club
and friends and family who attended the Roast itself.
Many many thanks to you all.
